Who we are.
Return to Base at Diamond Bar Ranch is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in the Pacific Northwest, located in Rathdrum, Idaho — dedicated to supporting veterans, emergency responders, and all members of the community.
Founded as a Christian men's group, Return to Base began with its founder answering a call to service within his Arizona community. Chris started by opening his home in 2023, welcoming a small group of men. Since then, the group has grown tenfold, fostering fellowship among its members.

Our mission.
At Return to Base, discover your true north and find renewed purpose. Our Christ-centered approach, rooted in authenticity and empowerment, combines proven wellness methods with equine-assisted learning. You will gain knowledge to overcome challenges, reconnect with your inner strength, and build a meaningful path forward in your faith and healing.
What we offer.
We are offering a three-day wellness class for veterans and emergency responders, past and present, free of charge. In order to foster an environment for personal growth, classes will be kept small and conducted in gender-specific groups. We are not able to offer ADA facilities at this time (call for specifics). All three-day classes will be conducted on Tuesday-Thursday with breakfast and lunch included. Travel and lodging not included. Learn more and sign up here.
